Heart FM, Willen Lake green screen photo promotion – August 2014

To build awareness of the leisure facilities at Willen Lake, the Centre MK, Milton Keyne’s central shopping centre, opened its doors to this Heart FM event. Heart commissioned takethatphoto to set up a green screen and give shoppers the chance to ‘take part’ in a water sport. During the day, more than 800 shoppers tried their hand at a sport, and we took and printed 800 photos. The green screen photography set up allowed shoppers to take away lifelike photographs as if they were in a water sports environment, but without the hassle or associated cost of this for the client.

Amgen Pharmaceutical, European Renal Conference exhibition stand – June 2014

Wanting to attract people to their stand at this European conference, Amgen asked takethatphoto to supply a green screen for the stand. We set it up so that visitors could ‘appear’ in the Amgen advert, and over the three days of the conference, we took and handed out 2900 prints on the spot.

BBC Experience Tour – Nationwide, 2015/2016

During the past year, the BBC has been travelling around the UK, and at their invitation we’ve been with them every step of the way – sadly, we didn’t travel by TARDIS though. Our green screen photography experts have been setting up and capturing photos of guests with Dr Who – often as many as 1000 a day! Plus we edited and printed them, complete with logo and hashtag, within seconds, all without the need for the Dr’s time-travelling help.

Heart FM, 4G Internet launch in Milton Keynes – September 2014

To promote the launch of 4G Internet in Milton Keynes, the City Council invited takethatphoto to set up a green screen studio in the city’s central shopping centre which allowed shoppers to experience a fun photoshoot with the Heart FM team. During the event, we photographed members of the public against various ‘speed’ related backgrounds. Over the course of the weekend, we printed 400 images for participants to take away with them.

Sports Direct annual conference – St James’ Park, Newcastle May 2016

For the fourth year running, Sports Direct asked takethatphoto to photograph their annual conference. We sprinted up to the Newcastle United ground, which welcomed more than 700 branch and head office staff for the event. As well as setting up our studio for formal shots, we also went all paparazzi, photographing the staff with sporting celebrities, and set up our green screen during the evening awards. As we shot each image, it was edited, printed and online within seconds, ready for staff to view.
